Cool Office Trick – Clean a Permanently Marked White Erase Board

by Alec Satin

Tired of looking at the permanent marker stains on the office whiteboard?  Here’s an easy trick.

Write over all the lines with a dry erase marker.  Leave for 30 seconds.  Now erase completely with a dry eraser.  You may have to do this a few times for bad stains, but most will come off with one treatment.

Now no one else will have to write around the do on 5/17/04 scribble.  Good work!

P.S.  If you’d like to do another good deed, take a moment to wash out the eraser in the bathroom sink with plenty of soap.  After it dries overnight, you may be surprised to see how well it works.
