I met Alec through my blog. He was among the first few people who left a comment when I had just started out. He even remembered when I was appearing for my exam and emailed me with best wishes the night before.

He has helped me over time and has been a great virtual mentor when I needed it the most. I haven’t met him yet but we’ve communicated via IM and emails; he is a wonderful person and his capability to motivate and reach others is phenomenal. A true inspiration, I can only imagine what it would be to work with him. I wish I could be part of his team.

I’ve known Alec for about two years and had the pleasure of working with him for one. I’m a PMO Manager and Alec was a senior level project manager in the PMO who consistently met project schedule, budget and quality objectives — making me look good. I would often consult with him for input on decision making and problem solving. Alec was supportive and frequently asked what he could do to help make my job easier. Alec took the initiative to make several common sense process improvements in the organization so that operations ran smoothly. Highest possible recommendation.

Alec enters a business exchange looking for how he can help, and works from the perspective of what he can offer. I’m confident that his very sincere approach serves Alec well in his role as a PM who needs to cultivate project champions within client organizations, and motivate cross functional teams to work to a higher standard. I hire many Project Managers and find few that have these instincts. Alec impresses immediately and follows through with substance.

I have known Alec for almost a year, and our paths have crossed on mutually interesting forums.

I am currently collaborating with Alec on a project to be released this summer (or sooner) and he has been excellent to work with.

Alec is focused, organized and keeps up with the latest trends and shifts taking place in the project management space. He has an in depth understanding of process management, and understands the difference between strategies and tactics. He is capable of looking at the big picture while bringing specifics down to the runway level to lay out specifically where the next steps lie.

Alec also has an excellent grasp of how to use technology to streamline processes rather than hampering them. While we are collaborating across oceans, continents and a 6 hour time difference, I have never felt distant to Alec. He keeps me updated, follows up on my progress and maintains contact without coming across as overbearing.

Alec is a growing force on the web and has already caught the attention of multiple project, process and time management writers – authorities in their respective spaces. I wholeheartedly recommend Alec based on my past and continued positive experience working with him.

I have known Alec for over 25 years. He is a person of clear vision, generous spirit, terrific honesty, intelligence, wisdom — and a great sense of humor, too.

There are some people in the professional world who, in ten years on a job, essentially get one year of experience ten times. Alec is one of those few, remarkable people who garners 2 years of experience for every year on the job, because he has such a quick mind and such an intuitive grasp of any exercise in which he is engaged.

If I were hiring a project manager, or a manager of any sort, I would be thrilled to be able to grab Alec to work for me. Whoever lands him is a lucky employer.
